This unabridged audio book edition includes all 273 Grimm fairy tales: in addition to the 200 fairy tales and 15 legends from the last-hand edition, all fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm that were only published in previous editions are presented.
The fairy tales written in dialect are also performed in High German translation.
The roughly 36.5 hour long work will be spoken by Claudia Gräf, Thomas Dehler, Patrick Imhof, Verena Noll and Christoph Pischer. It was directed by David Fischbach, winner of the German Audiobook Award.

The Brothers Grimm Brothers
Grimm called themselves the linguists and folklorists Jacob Grimm (1785-1863) and Wilhelm Grimm (1786-1859) in joint publications. The term Brothers Grimm is also common. However, they never published under the name of brothers. Together with Karl Lachmann and Georg Friedrich Benecke, the brothers are considered the “founding fathers” of German studies.
